Green lives matter

Plant blindness is a new book, now available through Summerfield Books and AmazonUK.

Without plants there would be no life on Earth. They feed, clothe and nurture us. We need plants if we are to find a way out of the 21st century global environmental crisis. And yet as a species, humans are insensitive to plants and do not understand that they must be treated with respect. Deficient awareness of the significance of vegetation, at every level from daily life all the way to the global scale, is the condition known as Plant Blindness. This book is an enquiry into what makes humans plant blind and how this pervasive cognitive bias may be mitigated.
